Industry leading skill and certification incentives

We recognize hard work and experience with additional financial incentives:

  • Paid Time Off: Accrue up to 40 hours per calendar year.

  • Paid Holidays: Independence Day and Christmas Day — 8 hours straight-time pay each.

  • Jury Duty Pay: Full shift at your regular hourly rate (plus applicable incentives) while serving.

  • Retention Bonus: Bonus of $1.00 per straight time hour or $1.50 per overtime hour worked at time of Reduction of Force (ROF):
    0-1 year of service = $1.00 per hour
    1-2 years = $2.00 per hour
    2+ years = $3.00 per hour

  • Experience Incentive: $1.00/hr ST and $1.50/hr OT after 12 months of Bechtel service, paid each pay period.

  • Skills Incentive: $1.00/hr for Foremen and General Foremen who pass written NCCER certification OR performance verification — increases to $2.00/hr for passing both written AND performance assessments.

  • Tuition Reimbursement: Up to $2,000/year for construction-related training and NCCER exams — available after 6 months of continuous Bechtel service with prior approval.

  • Career Development: Access to apprenticeship and upskilling programs through BCS.
